kirrill/Arlene soars with 100 Days

The time has gone quickly. It is hard to believe that I have been smoke free 100 days now.
The
last 100 days of being smoke free have been exciting, humbling, trying, educating, unpredictable and even like a roller coaster
at times. I hung on for dear life sometimes, when the going was really right rough. I posted and reached out for help at times.
The support and understanding was almost unbelievable.
And when I felt good which have been many days too, I strived
to help and support others.
I love the wise and kind understanding and support that is found here on quitnet. I have
met some of the most caring and dearest of human beings here. The insights and educational posts shared here are so helpful
in gaining understanding of this addiction and strengthening my will to stay smoke free.
The positive posts, spiritual
posts, and affirmations are extremely helpful for me. I need that positivity and the spiritual wisdoms to keep my soul fed,
my heart strong and myself happy and up beat.
The laughter, jokes and humor are extremely helpful for me. I need laughter
everyday as part and parcel of keeping this life and this quit a happy and good, positive journey.
Laughter can rid
me of a crave in a second.
When I read someone's words and know, because I can feel it, that they are speaking from
a humble, very wise and truly caring heart, my quit gets doubled and trippled in strength and commitment. My day and night
will be smoke free without a doubt.
I have so many of you here to thank for helping me in ways that most of you will
never know about. So, I thank each and everyone who has ever posted here on the Q, who tried for a awhile, who has been here
a long time, and those who are almost hand in hand with me and almost day to day.
To me it does not matter if you slipped
a few times or once or twice. That you keep trying again and again is what matters, and really truly trying, and that you
genuinely do want to give up the addiction for good.
I give my first and most appreciating thank you to my Loving
God. By His grace I quit, and am still quit for 100 days. By His grace I found the qnet. By His grace I found so many wonderful
friends here who understand this addiction and are so there to help and support in any way possible.
I would not be
here at 100 days without Him nor without any of you either. I Thank You all from the bottom of my heart for your support,
love and friendship, and even just for being here.
My Hat is a Red Cowboy Hat with a silver chain of tourquois nuggets
around the rim. (this is to go with my cowboy boots and spurs, socks, T-Shirt and skirt) My kite has many rainbows on it representing
the pots of gold I have found here on the Qnet and the many pots of gold coming to my life just for being smoke free and valuing
my health much more seriously. The Sun is shining sprakling beams of light upon the grass and through the rainbows. My
kite also has a bright Moon and many stars. "One moon gives off more light than many stars." Any who changes any one
thing in themselves for the better shines much light for many to see (just by being the example). By being Smoke Free, light
is shining upon many to see, giving them hope and inspiration.
God Bless!
Arlene :)
